Or get your lockkeeper diploma in the smart lockkeeper game. The New Lock project is unique in the Netherlands. This will be one of the largest locks in the world! We can tell you something new about that almost every day. The construction is impressive, with hundreds of thousands of cubic meters of concrete and tens of thousands of tons of steel.
Children see with different eyes. We see them shine, laugh and discover. The operation of the locks, the many cargoes and destinations of mega-sized ships and the importance of water and good connections. Fun and educational go together here in a unique way!
Young people are therefore very welcome at the Portal. We organize children’s parties, but also receive schools, both primary and secondary schools. Here you learn by doing and experiencing.
