Information center

In the information center of the Gateway to Flanders you press the buttons and learn what happens in the locks and ports. You can experience the harbour of North Sea Port from the inside. You can see the entire port area in relief on a model. With an iPad you make the information visible. For example, you can discover where the nature reserves are, where the windmills are and what the names of the cities and villages are in and around the port area.

With an interactive exhibition we take you into the past, present and future. That future is bright, especially given the construction of the New Lock. View the model and the New Lock in virtual reality !

The information centre plays a central role within the Gateway to Flanders. Here we receive you and you can visit the interactive exhibition. You are also welcome for a drink before or after your visit to the lock complex. The boat trip also starts and ends here.

A visit to the Information Center is free. The Gateway to Flanders will of course be even more fun with a tour of the lock complex and / or a cruise. Inquire about the possibilities.
